Can any one give me the formula to calculate comparison rate.
In Excel the formula used is Rate(nper, pmt, pv, [fv], [type], [guess]).
I have nper, pmt and pv values and i need the formula to calculate rate.
i searched on web and got a clue that its a recursive formula.
Can any one help??

Rate = Work / Time
If you want to compare rates it is just simple division.
Comparison of Rate 1 to Rate 2 = Rate 1 / Rate 2
