What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

My mum said I can start babysitting soon, she said at first it can be free but I would need to make a reasonable rate sooner or later. If you%26#039;ve done babysitting before please give me a reasonable rate, or if you have a reasonable rate please let me know.

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH STUFF YOU COULD EAT AT THEIR HOME

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

Five bucks every hour...

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

4

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

well age? have u done a class(people pay more if u know CPR etc...)

I say 5$-7$ and 2$ more per extra child?

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

$20 to 50 per hr

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

when i babysat it was 5$ an hour.. but some people might give you more depending on how many children. I would say 3$ per child is fair. Kids can be unruly sometimes. Especially when mom and dad are gone.

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

I%26#039;d say about $5 an hour.

If the people ask what you charge-say it doesn%26#039;t matter-they usually will give u btw. 5-10 dollars for 1 hr, and will respect that you arent pushy and are flexible :)

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

a dollar a hour

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

It depends on how long youve been babysitting, what youre trained in ((first aid, cpr, etc)) and the number of children!

Here is a link that I have used in the past

http://www.sittercity.com/rate_calculato...

its a rate calculator for how much you should charge per hour!!

Good luck!!

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

Minimum wage. it is a job.

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

I watch 3 month old twins and I make 10 bucks an hour but it also depnds on how much experience you have

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

It really depends on your age, experience and if you have taken any classes. I think $5 an hr is good to start. As you gain more experience, then you can begin to raise it. If you take a CPR class then $7 an hr would be reasonable...oh, another factor is the area you live in. I live in Los Angeles and I would be paying a lot more than that for a sitter...it%26#039;s not unreasonable to pay $10-12 an hr here.

What is a reasonable rate for babysitting?

I charge $3.50 an hour for the first child and $2.50 each extra kid. It also helps if you get certified both for babysitting and in CPR. The Red Cross does the CPR class. A local hospital should do the babysitting class. I have found the parents trust you a lot more with it. The only down side to the CPR class is it is not a one time thing and it cost every time!!!! but it is worth it. The babysitting class on the other hand is a one time thing and i don%26#039;t think it cost. If it does it was REALLY cheap like $5.00.

Hope this helped!!! ;)
